With an MFA from Art Institute of Chicago, Mahmoud Ferdowsi's artwork is an expression of his feelings toward life itself. His spontaneous and yet controlled brush strokes express a mystical feeling and his unique state of mind. Ferdowsi's work transform from dark to light through layers of opaque, textured & transparent colors which reflect upon deep psychological states and social elements of his thoughts, expressing the complexity, intricacy and never-ending movement of time within our universe.
