Hengameh Fouladvand

Hengameh Fouladvand is a New York-based artist/scholar whose paintings celebrate individuality. Her work is a blend of playful and calculated elements, defying many traditions and accentuating free expression. Fouladvand's forms emerge from dreamy clouds and melt into misty spaces, teasing time and space as linear elements. Spontaneous and unpredictable as they seem, her colors, forms, and compositions are the results of careful manipulation. Her surfaces transcend the physical into realms not immediately recognizable by our intellect, yet engraved within our psyche. Hengameh Fouladvand has exhibited her work extensively and has recently written the art entries of Iran Today Encyclopedia.
