Zahra f creates mixed media projects designed as a three
dimensional travellog. Each piece of work is a record
of her sight specific experiences and interactions. Through
the use of locally available resources and culturally
familiar materials, these experiences are recorded and
depicted. The forms and shapes of Zahra's works are as
varied as the materials and sizes she uses. The use of
outdoor space is crucial in many of her works. Some of
her pieces are wallhangings, while others are indoor or
outdoor sites that need to be walked through. The coming
together of these pieces create a journal, or travellog.
